Setuno is a Chrome extension for people who read long articles, documentation, papers and tutorials. Highlight something you don't follow and Setuno explains it right there on the page, with no copying, pasting or switching tabs.
What it does
Define a word
Its meaning in the sentence you found it in, said plainly, with an example.
Explain a passage
What a highlighted passage actually means. Then simpler, or with an example.
Summarize the page
The article's main points in a few sentences, and the reading time that saved.
How it works
- Highlight a word or a passage on any page.
- Click the button that appears next to it: Define for a single word, Explain for anything longer.
- The answer opens beside the text, in the language of the page you're reading.
To summarize a whole article, open Setuno's side panel from the toolbar and click Summarize.
Setuno uses AI to write its answers. Nothing happens until you ask: it never runs on a page by itself.

Privacy
Setuno sends text from a page only when you click one of its buttons, and only what that request needs. It has no ads, no analytics and no trackers, and it sells nothing about you. The privacy policy says exactly what is sent, where it goes and what is kept.
Payments
Setuno Pro is sold through Link, Stripe's merchant of record service. Link processes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipts. You can manage or cancel your subscription with the Manage subscription button in your receipt email, or at link.com if you paid with a Link account.
